Greetings startup founders!

Techstars Adelaide has officially opened the doors to applications for its 2017 program, starting on July 17.

Adelaide is poised to become a global centre of excellence for Defense & Security with over $100 billion worth of major defense industry projects in the pipeline. Defense research has driven some of the most transformative consumer innovations the world has seen, from the internet and GPS to superglue and digital photography.

At Techstars Adelaide, we’re searching for 10 early stage companies specializing in Internet of Things (IoT), big data, sensors, and robotics to develop and commercialize tomorrow’s most successful products in security and defense. Through the intensive three-month mentor-driven program, the selected companies will gain exclusive access to the Techstars’ network of founders, mentors, investors, community leaders and Industry Partners–including seven of the world’s leading companies: BAE Systems, Thales, Austal, SAAB, ASC, Rheinmetall, and DCNS.

Think your company fits the bill? We’d love to hear from you!

Over the next couple of months, the Techstars Adelaide team will be visiting cities around the world, broadcasting a series of webinars, hosting virtual-office hours for teams and founders (in person hours in select locations), and hosting meetups to share insights on the Techstars approach.

We are interested in getting to know you no matter where you are in the world, so we have Virtual Office Hours available globally. Request a slot through the sign up form here, and we’ll be in touch with available times to book.
