Foodspotting, a mobile and desktop app that allows users to find and share the foods they love, just received $3 million from BlueRun ventures. The $3 million will allow the team to build on the efforts begun from a previous round of funding. Foodspotting will expand their efforts to build their sphere of influence beyond the self-proclaimed “foodies” who make up the majority of the 550,000 user base.
