I am head of ecommerce at digital advertising agency VML (part of the Young & Rubicam network). At VML I am responsible for developing ecommerce and omnichannel strategies and execution for clients ranging from CPG companies to auto manufacturers and retailers.
Prior to joining VML I was with Best Buy for 9 years developing ecommerce businesses in the mobile, marketplace and third party ecommerce space where I led the development and monetization of our open API capabilities.
Earlier in my career I founded, ran and successfully sold a casual food start up in the UK, raising three rounds of finance, developing the brand and the operation, choosing and developing locations and managing the sale.
In addition to these work activities, I am an investor in a number of tech start ups notably a parking start up in the twin cities and a wearable start up based in Chicago that is part of this summer's Techstars Chicago program.
