Ezinne has 15 years of experience working in product development, strategy and partnerships in the mobile, telecommunication, software and media industries. She currently serves as a founding partner of Kernel Fund, an Angel Investment Fund focused on investing in and equipping entrepreneurs working in and serving Africa and consults in product and business strategy. Previously, Ezinne was Vice President of Innovation and Platforms, at Time Inc. (NY), a media company with over 30 US brands and reaching 120 million people across multiple platforms. Prior to Time Inc. she worked as a Strategy consultant to enterprises (large and small) and startups, partnering with clients like NYPR/NPR to define Podcast and Premium Audio content app and monetization strategy. During her time in NY she was on the teaching team that taught Lean LaunchPad at Columbia University, working with Bob Dorf and Steve Blank to execute on a week long Lean Startup Curriculum. She’s launched products from mobile apps, platforms and physical hardware that has scaled to millions of users and worked to acquire and partner with companies for T-Mobile, Time and Discovery Communications.
Ezinne lives in Austin, TX in Hill Country with her husband Oji and 2 extremely curious kids. When she’s not working with startups and clients, – she’s perfecting her favorite recipes, attempting songwriting, or in a dance class.
