Today Microsoft announced that it has acquired MetricsHub, an innovative startup focused on cloud application monitoring and scaling. MetricsHub lets customers save money on their cloud hosting bills by keeping cloud applications up and running cheaply and easily.
MetricsHub participated in the Microsoft Accelerator, powered by TechStars in Seattle in 2012.
We’re super excited for the team at MetricsHub, who sure have come a long way since they got off of that bus on day 1 of the program in Seattle. But honestly, we are even more excited for Microsoft. It has picked up a great idea, and some great technology, that will help it deliver even better cloud products to its customers. The other good news is that, effectively immediately, MetricsHub will now offer a pre-release, no charge, version of the Active Cloud Monitoring service to all Windows Azure customers.
The next session of Microsoft Accelerator, powered by TechStars, begins on April 1, 2013 and concludes with a demo day in Seattle on June 26. Learn more about the Microsoft Accelerator and more about MetricsHub.
