Bob is founder of MoonTango (a personal shopping site dedicated to the needs of women) and Dealometry (a mens group buying site built on the DealCoop platform). Bob was also co-founder of iMedExchange, a value-add online social network exclusively for physicians, and three other technology startups, including two others in the healthcare sector. Before embarking on his tech startup career, Bob blended his unique business and technology acumen as a successful enterprise technology consultant in both private and public sectors.
Bob is an active participant in the Seattle startup community and, while his personal poker skills are dubious, he is Chief Instigator of the popular startup networking event, Startup Poker 2.0. Bob was a founding board member of 6-Hour Startup and serves as a formal advisor to Startup Weekend. Bob regularly advises a host of Northwest tech startup entrepreneurs and serves as a mentor to aspiring high school entrepreneurs through TiE’s youth entrepreneurship program.
In addition to more than 25 years of professional business and technology experience, Bob holds Bachelors degrees in philosophy and humanities from California State University and a Masters degree in Philosophy from University of Washington.
