Jeff Bennett has been a leader in the digital economy through his work as an entrepreneur, executive and adviser. As an entrepreneur, Jeff has been involved with many emerging companies. Currently, Jeff is the CEO of Swap.com, a Boston based company that has established a leadership position with this new form of social commerce.Prior to joining Swaptree, Jeff founded and served as President and COO of NameMedia, Inc., an online media and commerce company that owns one of the largest domain portfolios in the world.
In addition, Jeff is committed to helping build a vibrant ecosystem for entrepreneurs in Boston and is involved as a mentor in the TechStars and 12×12 programs. Jeff has also advised several ventures that include Oneforty, Adtutive (acquired by ETSY) and others. Jeff started his work on the Internet as an executive at Lycos where he served in many roles that included Vice President of eCommerce and Executive Vice President of Corporate Development.
Jeff earned his B.S. Degree, cum laude, with a concentration in Marketing and Management from Bentley College.
