Kelly Smith

Founder & CEO, Curious Office

Kelly is the founder of Curious Office, a Seattle seed-stage investor and incubator. He was the founder of Imagekind, the largest market for buying and selling art, which was acquired by CafePress in 2007. In 2000, he founded an online video company called RocketVox which was acquired by thePlatform (part of Comcast). In 2008 he founded Inkd – an online marketplace for graphic design. Before founding Inkd, Kelly served as a VP of Product Marketing for Siemens, and worked at RealNetworks from 1994 to 1999 in various marketing and business development roles. Kelly started his career at Spry, the first commercial licensor of the Mosaic web browser (sold to AOL).

Curious Office has invested in SEOmoz, Imagekind, Wishpot, CoolSpotters, Shelfari (acquired by Amazon) and FeedDigest (sold). Kelly is also a board member or advisor for NetConcepts, PatentExpress, SEOmoz and Rouxbe.
