Stephen Campbell was most recently Chief Investment Officer for Zefram LLC, the personal investment company of Jeff Bezos, where he managed a large, diverse portfolio of equity, fixed income and alternative investments. In addition, he was Managing Director of Jeff’s venture fund Bezos Expeditions, where he led over 20 investments in such companies as Twitter, Linden Lab, 37signals, MFG.com, Sapphire Energy and Heartland Robotics. He was Chairman of Philadelphia-based, Expense Watch and has served on numerous boards, including Heartland Robotics, MFG.com and Flex Car (acquired by Zip Car). Steve was previously CEO of two successful early stage financial software companies, Devonshire Technology (which he founded and was acquired by Fidelity Investments) and Capital Stream (acquired by HCL Technologies). Steve spent his early career in senior executive roles managing both technology development and investment research for Fidelity Investments in the U.S. and Europe/Asia. He was V.P. of equity and fixed income trading technology, V.P of mutual fund systems, V.P. of investment research for the $800B asset management company FMRCo, and Executive Director of international technology for Fidelity International based in London. Steve is a graduate of Merrimack College and completed the Stanford Executive Program at the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University.
