Steve Kane

Entrepreneur and Investor

Steven N. Kane is a technology and media entrepreneur and investor, and he and his wife, Nada Despotovich Kane, and their two sons reside in Brookline, Massachusetts. Presently, Steven is founder and CEO of Full Circle Media, of Boston, Massachusetts, which produces entertainment and information products and services in Internet, mobile, film and video. Previously, he was co-founder and CEO of digital media, games and consumer marketing technology developer GameLogic Inc., of Waltham, Massachusetts. Prior to GameLogic, Steven was co-founder, Chairman and CEO of pioneering Internet technology, games and database marketing concern Gamesville, which was acquired by Lycos Network in 1999. Before Gamesville, Kane was co-founder and CEO of InterLab, (dba Elkay Products) the global developer of precision life-science laboratory liquid handling systems and consumables, which was acquired by CIT Group in 1994. In addition, Steven is and has been a Director and investor in many media, technology and other companies, including Pangea Media, Conduit Labs, Rick’s Picks, Acres-Fiore Gaming, Soundbite Communications, and Leader Bank NA. Steven and Nada are active in philanthropy. Currently Steven is a Trustee of the Joslin Diabetes Center of Boston, MA, and Nada is an Overseer of the Institute for Contemporary Art and the Huntington Theater, both of Boston, MA. A native of Worcester, Massachusetts, he graduated from Phillips Academy, Andover, and received a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Film and Television from the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU in 1984.
