Introducing the 2020 Class of Techstars Lisbon

We are thrilled to announce Techstars Class 211 and share the 10 companies of Techstars Lisbon in partnership with Semapa Next. This year, our program will focus on companies that are solving problems in Industrial Tech, Transportation, Travel, Sustainability and companies that have solutions that can be adopted across all industries.
Our second class, just as last year, builds on our program’s global attractiveness. We received hundreds of applications from all over the world but we also saw a significant increase from local companies across Portugal’s main tech hubs – in Lisbon, Porto, Coimbra, Braga and Aveiro. The companies selected to join us for this year’s program in Lisbon are coming from the U.S., Australia, France, Israel, and Portugal. This year we are very fortunate to have 4 female founders as CEO’s of our class.
We have software and hardware companies, mostly B2B, but also B2C. Our companies are in different stages of development but all have the drive and ambition to change the world we live in. We look forward to the next three months of intense work, life-changing moments, and new friendships, culminating into an amazing demo day on May 27, 2020.
Techstars is the worldwide network that helps entrepreneurs succeed, and strong partners and mentors make this happen. The sole focus of Techstars and Semana Next will be to help these 10 companies grow, with the support of our partners and our amazing mentor network.
