RCI Bank and Services offers financial solutions to facilitate Alliance customers’ access to automobility. By taking into account each brand’s specific character and anticipating customers’ new needs and uses, RCI Bank and Services supports the brands’ commercial policies for attracting new customers and securing their loyalty.
After finishing my studies at Sciences Po Paris, I began my career by joining DIAC, the French subsidiary of RCI Bank and Services. I worked in several positions in the field, leading teams in the distribution networks in the retail and fleet markets, and then became a key account manager in France and Europe. These jobs gave me the chance to discover a wide range of professions in the RCI Bank and Services group: sales, marketing, project management, and even internal communications. In 2003, my career took a new turn when I joined the Human Resources Department of RCI Bank and Services. There I dealt with skills coordination at the international level, as well as training and management policy. Since 2013, I have been human resources director of DIAC, which has 1,000 employees. Being a woman has never kept me from advancing in my career or from aspiring to hold positions of responsibility.
“Today DIAC sets a good example in the Group, as 55% of the company’s 120 managers are women. It’s something to be really proud of!”
In its 2017−2022 strategic plan, RCI Bank and Services has set an objective of employing women in 25% of the key posts in the company.
In France, we have concluded an agreement on gender equality in the workplace. Its impact has grown with its progressive application. Women make up 60% of our personnel in France. Although the automotive sector is not noted for gender diversity, DIAC sets a good example in the Group, as 55% of the company’s 120 managers are women. It’s something to be really proud of!
More than 40% of our regional directors are women. These results have been achieved in a fairly natural way thanks to a policy of detecting talented people, relying on internal promotion, and supporting job mobility. There is still progress to be made, but the results are encouraging.
Along the same lines, RCI Bank and Services is supporting initiatives to boost women’s entrepreneurship. In 2017, we sponsored StartHer, a community that encourages tech entrepreneurship among women and that aims to promote a more inclusive tech sector.
RCI Bank and Services is one of the main partners of the Global Startup Weekend Women (GSWW). This initiative showcases 2,000 up-and-coming women entrepreneurs in 23 cities created no less than 200 projects. No less than 200 projects have been created. Five people from DIAC have agreed to contribute their experience and leadership skills to the event by participating as mentors. It is a very rich and rewarding experience that they will be able to share later in our company and, who knows, perhaps inject a startup spirit into our DNA!
