Nikos Dimakis is an entrepreneur, graduate of the Crete University in Applied Mathematics and holds two Masters in Applied Mathematics and Digital Marketing, one MBA (Management Business Administration Management) and one MBIT (Business Innovation & Technology). He is the project manager of Aephoria.net, which aspires to become a world class fully fledged incubator for very early stage startups developing any product or service conducive to sustainable development, as well as of Blue Growth, which aims to inspire and help young entrepreneurs realize innovative concepts related to marine and freshwater resources.
Moreover, he has the responsibility to give the definition of the population to be surveyed including shipping companies and port organizations, collect the data, prepare the questionnaire(s), register the needs of maritime organizations, organize the field of work and summarize the data analysis.
Michael Tsaoutos was born in 1965 and grew up in Volos. He lives in Athens with his wife and three daughters. He holds a degree in Electrical Engineering & Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and was awarded a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Warwick Business School.
Since 2010 he is the General Manager of EPSA Soft Drinks. EPSA produces soft drinks since 1924 and its products are available all over Greece. Exports are building up and currently EPSA exports to 15 countries, including Australia, China and USA. During the last few years EPSA introduced innovative products into the market, namely Organic Lemonade and Orangeade and the “EPSA light” series, where sugar is replaced by sweetener from the stevia plant.
Before EPSA, Michael had worked for more than two decades in Lambrakis Press. He started in 1988 as a Technology Editor for Apple products in RAM magazine. Later he became Editorial Editor for BHMARAM newspaper insert, for bit magazine and inLife magazine. He was a member of the team that started www.in.gr portal and organized all paid subscriptions of in.gr. From 2003 until 2010 he became General Manager of Shop21.gr (Lambrakis Press’ e-commerce site). Until recently he worked as a technology consultant for RAM and HiTECH magazines. When time permits, he still plays around with various Apple devices.
He was a member of the Greek national ski team, Greek national water ski team and represented Greece in Camel Trophy 2000 and Land Rover G4 Challenge. For the last few years he enjoys running long distance races and participating in triathlon competitions.
Dr Apostolos D. Papadoulis was born in 1957 in Volos and he is father of a daughter. His professional career starts in 1982 as Supervisor of the scientific divisions of the Association of Industries in Thessaly and Central Greece
He was the President of the Executive Committee of the Association of Industries in Thessaly and Central Greece since 2005 until 2015 and General Manager of AEDEP Thessaly and Central Greece since 2003 until today. His professional career started in 1982 as Supervisor of the scientific divisions of the Association of Industries in Thessaly and Central Greece.
He holds a degree from the Department of Public Administration at Panteion University and in year 2000 was awarded a PhD Title from the Department of Regional Planning and Development at the University of Thessaly.
Since 2003 he is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Thessaly, on the subjects of ‘Business Finance’, ‘Business Strategy and Technology’, ‘The Strategy of Administration’, and ‘Policies of Regional Development in Greece’.
He has participated in numerous Scientific Programs and Studies and through his incumbency in the AITCG and the UTH has collaborated with multiple Scientific and Development Authorities. However, despite his diverse activity, he remains committed to the support of the Businesses in the Regions of Thessaly and Sterea Ellada in order to assist their way to development.
Loukas is a longtime experienced Venture Capital and Private Equity investor, both internationally and in Greece. Before the creation of Anchorstone Partners, where he is a founding Partner and its CEO, in 2009 when he returned to Greece after 21 years of international career in Japan, USA and London, he founded and headed the Venture Capital and Private Equity Group of Piraeus Bank Group, the largest Banking Group in Greece, which has extended presence in the South Eastern European region. Previously, he was with State Street, a major US financial services corporation, since 1995. He held senior positions in investment banking, corporate venture capital and private equity, strategy development and risk management in Boston, US and London,
His most recent role with State Street was the Pan European Chief Administrative Officer, European Executive Board. In that role, he was responsible for PanEuropean strategy development, M&A and Private Equity supervision, and co-management of the European corporate functions. Before he joined State Street, Loukas gained extensive operational experience through his 15-year tenure in various industry sectors. His international investment track record extends from incubation stage deals in the US and Greece, to large international equity transactions of USD 5 billion. Through both his 15-year operational and 20-year investment professional tenures, he has a longtime senior management experience and has invested, or participated through originating, structuring and syndicating, in over 80 deals internationally. Loukas holds a Law degree from Athens University Law School, an LLM in international financial services law from Boston University Law School and an MSF from Boston College.
He is also a graduate of the Executive Development program from the Wharton School of University of Pennsylvania, USA and a frequent speaker in investment related events. Loukas is also a member of the BoD of SEN-Junior Achievement Greece organization and member of the Committee of Innovation, Education and Entrepreneurship at the Greek-American Chamber of Commerce, both promoting the new entrepreneurship and innovation in Greece.
Harry Kalogirou studied Computer Science at the University of Piraeus and did his masters in Software Engineering at the University of Ioannina. He possesses a wide range of interests and experience, from web development and databases to operating system design and implementation to 3D accelerated graphics and high performance algorithms. Since 2010 he founded the company “nlogn” and has produced and published three successful and award winning video games, across 4 mobile platforms. Since then he helped establish, develop the mobile strategy, and fund several startups, including hoolio.com and vleepo.com.
Holding BSc’s on Industrial Management & Technology and Computer Science, Alex started early his entrepreneurial career in the fields of industrial packaging and the textile industry. He later expanded to software development on several platforms, like mobile, web and SaaS.
Aside from the above he is also working on Authentiq as head of the android product on an ambitious authentication service that changes the way we handle our identity through the use of our mobile phones.

Sotiris Bantas is the founder and CEO of Centaur Technologies a developer of disruptive hardware and apps for the emerging Industrial Internet of Things. In 2000 he cofounded Helic, an EDA software company specializing in RF & high-speed IC design solutions, and served as the company’s CTO until 2014. His responsibilities have included leading R&D and product development and spearheading IP creation. He has also been involved in marketing solutions to the company’s clientele comprising leading American, Korean, Chinese and Japanese technology companies. Helic raised Venture Capital investments from Silicon Valley strategics and angels and from Fujitsu of Japan.Sotiris Bantas holds a Ph.D. in Microelectronics and Diploma in Electrical Engineering, both received from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He holds 3 US patents and has several pending.
