As of today, Techstars has accelerated over 200 companies in our multiple programs since 2007. How do we fully leverage our growing network? How can we do more than introduce founders across years and locations? It’s no secret that we consider our network our best resource and we’re always looking for ways to make being a Techstars alum even more awesome. I’m really excited to announce that we are bringing on Ari Newman as the full-time Network Catalyst for Techstars. Ari was a founder in one of Techstars’ inaugural programs in Boulder and is the founder of Filtrbox, which was acquired by Jive in 2010. With the unique experience of having gone through our program as a founder under his belt, he’s perfectly positioned to be a positive influence and action taker amongst our growing network.

Exciting News – I’ve just joined the super awesome Techstars team! I’ll be focusing on alumni and acting as conduit and enabler for the incredible network of entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors the platform has grown to encompass. Check out the cool infographic we posted yesterday to see what I mean. My company, Filtrbox, went through Techstars Boulder in 2007 – the inaugural class! Since that time I’ve stayed close to Techstars and acted as a mentor, investor and supporter over the years.

Welcome (back) to the family, Ari!
