Today we are thrilled to announce a new accelerator program with Virgin Media focused on connectivity and digital innovation. Virgin Media and Techstars are excited to invite the most promising and innovative entrepreneurs from the digital sector to apply to this new accelerator program in London.
The Virgin Media Accelerator, powered by Techstars, will launch in 2016 and will open the doors to any startup with an innovative solution that will simplify the complex related to IoT, telecom infrastructure, customer data and experience, social enterprise, connected homes, connected goods and services, interactive home experiences, home health and wellness, connected business services and connectivity for social good.

The partnership will be Techstars’ third accelerator program in London in addition to our London city program and our Barclays FinTech Accelerator program. The Virgin Media Accelerator, powered by Techstars, will give startups access to senior experts from Virgin Media and its parent company Liberty Global, as well as to Techstars’ global network of more than 7,000 founders, mentors, investors and corporate partners.
The Virgin Media Accelerator, powered by Techstars, is sponsored by Liberty Global, the parent company of Virgin Media, and will be run in conjunction with Virgin Media Business, the arm of Virgin Media that provides products and services to startups and small business in the UK. Virgin Media Business also manages Pitch to Rich, the annual entrepreneur competition to find the most innovative startups and small businesses from a broad range of sectors.
