Brace yourselves for the happening of the year – on June 4th, Startup Weekend Bergen will have the pleasure of hosting one of the first ever bootcamps on FI-WARE, an open cloud-based infrastructure for cost-effective creation and delivery of Future Internet applications and services.

    FI-WARE in a nutshell – infographic

FI-WARE API specifications are public and royalty-free – OPEN APIs FOR OPEN MINDS. Built upon FI-WARE is FI-LAB, an open innovation ecosystem where developers will be able to setup the basic virtual infrastructure needed to run applications that make use of the APIs provided by FI-WARE Generic Enablers.

FI-WARE was financed and developed by the European Commission as part of the 2020 Entrepreneurship Action Plan, leveraging partners like Telefónica, IBM, Orange, SAP, Telekom, Siemens – to name but a few.

Benjamin Southworth will be flown in from the UK to get you up to speed on using FI-WARE and FI-LAB. The bootcamp will be free and open to absolutely everyone, so set off your evening on June 4th to learn about this fantastic opportunity for your current and next (!) businesses. Register HERE!
