In order to manage so many events, the Operations Team requests that all Organizers and Would-Be-Organizers contact the Ops Team at least three months prior to the proposed event. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to begin a dialogue. All prospective Organizers are required to have attended a minimum of three events. At a recent Startup Weekend Core Team retreat we decided to dream big and go for the gold. Startup Weekend is planning on organizing 150 events, many of them in new cities, in 2011. Startup Weekend has identified dual goals of building upon established relationships while supporting entrepreneurship in underdeveloped communities.
