Andrew Hippert joins Techstars as the Program Manager for the Sports Tech Accelerator Powered by Indy. Prior to Techstars, he served as the Assistant Athletic Director for Recruitment and Compliance at Catholic University in Washington, D.C. He oversaw all recruitment efforts for the athletics department, serving as the liaison to the admissions and financial aid offices. He was also the school's chief NCAA compliance officer.

Prior to Catholic, Hippert spent two seasons with Washington Wizards and Washington Capitals where he worked in client retention developing tailored customer service plans that increased retention rates and helped raise $4 million in ticket revenue. A graduate of Bowdoin College, where he was a First Team All-Maine and Second Team All-Region selection, Hippert is the youngest inductee to the New England Basketball Hall of Fame. Hippert went on to earn two masters degrees from the University of Central Florida, one in business administration and one in sports business management.
