David is a 15-year marketing veteran who has developed brand strategies and advertising campaigns for Allstate, Sprint, BP and Marlboro. After spending years at global ad agencies Leo Burnett, Ogilvy & Mather and DraftFCB, David chased his dream and founded Tacklebox in 2014.
David is an adjunct faculty member at Tribeca Flashpoint College where he teaches entrepreneurship, a brand-strategy instructor at The Startup Institute, and a mentor at the University of Chicago’ Polsky School for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. He lives in Chicago with his wife and two sons. He is proud to have finished over 20 triathlons, is a graduate of the Voyageur Outward Bound School and only talks about his reality-show past when asked.
