Donald is cofounder and Chief Product Officer at Hightower, a real estate technology company backed by Bessemer Venture Partners and Thrive Capital. Prior to Hightower he cofounded LIFFFT, a boutique consultancy helping companies including Nordstrom, Microsoft, and REI create new products and foster internal innovation. He began his career in music, opening a Seattle-based recording studio where he helped Macklemore produce his early music. His past also includes stints as a bike mechanic, a pizza delivery guy, a snowboard instructor, a real estate broker, and a camp counselor.

Donald's writing on his battle with cancer and launching startups has been featured in national media outlets including Inc, GeekWire, GigaOm, and The New York Times. As a speaker, Donald has traveled to the Middle East, Central America, and Europe to facilitate workshops on behalf of Techstars, a Boulder based startup accelerator.
