Esther Barron is a Clinical Associate Professor at Northwestern University School of Law and the Director of the Bluhm Legal Clinic’s Entrepreneurship Law Center. She is also a Northwestern Law alum (JD ’95). Esther teaches Entrepreneurship Law, Venture Capital and runs a transactional clinic. She has also guest lectured at classes at Kellogg School of Management and McCormick School of Engineering. Prior to joining the faculty at Northwestern, Esther practiced law in Chicago for almost ten years, most recently in the Commercial Finance group at Goldberg Kohn. In 2004, she co-founded a start-up handbag company Elezar, LLC, targeting high-end boutiques and department stores. Elezar has a line of leather bags as well as a line of vegan bags and the bags are carried by many celebrities.
