Geoff oversees partnerships, distribution and podcasts for venture backed media company Some Spider Studios. The company's identity-based channels include Scary Mommy, The Dad and Cafe. He has consulted for and invested in early stage ecommerce, digital media and data companies - including Casper, Greatist and Sense360 - with a focus on content strategy, product development, partnerships and operations.
Geoff spent seven years at The New York Times, most recently as the Vice President of Corporate & Business Development. There he managed major partnerships, day-to-day business development, acquisitions and venture investing.
Prior to joining the Times, Geoff worked in film development and production, including four years at Tribeca Productions, where he developed projects like Rent, The Good Shepherd and Meet the Fockers. Geoff has an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Columbia University.
