With over two decades of full-time startup experience, Greg is an experienced early-stage founder, technical leader and investor. His deep understanding of software and product design has led to many successful exits. Greg most recently served as co-founder and CTO Full Slate, acquired by Intuit (NASDAQ: INTU). Post acquisition, Greg spent time as a Chief Architect at Intuit where he lead a variety of company-wide technology initiatives.
Previously Greg co-founded AdRelevance (backed by Madrona, acquired by Nielsen, NASDAQ: NLSN) and QL2 (acquired by private equity firm Hale Global). Greg’s first startup was Netbot, a UW spinoff backed by Arch Ventures. At Netbot he lead commercialization of Metacrawler (acquired by InfoSpace, NASDAQ: BCOR) and development of Jango, the first consumer shopping portal (acquired by Excite, NASDAQ: XCIT). Greg served as an advisor and interim CTO at Gist (backed by Vulcan, acquired by BlackBerry, NASDAQ: BBRY), Optify (backed by Madrona, acquired by Marketo, NASDAQ: MKTO) and Socrata (backed by Morgenthaler and In-Q-Tel). He also spent time at Monster Venture Partners where he advised various portfolio companies as Resident CTO.
