Jason is Vice President, Global Strategy and Innovation, at Syniverse, a global mobile network services provider connecting 1,000 carriers and 500+ enterprises. Most recently Jason was at Redbox as GM/VP of two new businesses, and prior to Redbox he was at Motorola in product management and strategy for entertainment experiences. Prior to moving to Chicago in 2005 with his wife (Amy Francetic, CEO of Clean Energy Trust) and their two daughters, Jason was in Silicon Valley and Los Angeles at companies including Ubisoft, Intel, DreamWorks. He has also worked at a few venture-backed start-ups as either a co-founder and/or a founding executive (Appolicious, PlayFirst, Riffage.com). As Games Evangelist for Intel in the late-90s Jason had a key role in the development of the Xbox, and he is also an inventor with 16 patents pending. Jason considers himself fortunate to have been responsible for several exciting mobile and online “firsts” including: YouTube experience on mobile, NFL-licensed online game; video webcasts by the New Orleans Jazz Festival, Broadway Video (producer of “Saturday Night Live”), and BBC Music (in the US).
