Marc Siry serves as Vice President, Strategic Development, as part of Comcast’s Strategic Development Group. In this role, Siry helps to develop and launch new business concepts across Comcast and NBCUniversal . Siry’s team is currently focused on developing opportunities for Comcast & NBCU in the area of connected health, with a focus on patient engagement and hospital-to-home connectivity.
Previously, Siry served as Senior Vice President of Media Products & Advanced Technology for NBCUniversal. Siry’s team created the technology, tools and capabilities that enable NBCUniversal businesses to reach, serve, and monetize their audiences in a digitally connected world. He provided support for coordinating product strategy, development, design and technical architecture for critical systems. He also worked to evaluate emerging platforms, sharing knowledge and best practices across NBCUniversal and business partners.
Siry’s initial assignment upon joining NBCUniversal was leading product development for a digital syndication network, which would ultimately evolve into NBCUniversal’s contribution to Hulu — the leading online entertainment destination for professionally created television content. Prior to that, Siry held an eclectic series of creative positions at leading media and consumer companies such as Marvel Comics, Mattel, America Online and Fox Broadcasting. Siry attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and the School of Visual Arts in New York, where he studied Industrial Design and Illustration, respectively.
Siry lives in Philadelphia with his wife and two children.
