Mark is a qualified corporate lawyer with 6 years experience practicing internet law at leading law firms Berwin Leighton Paisner LLP and Mishcon de Reya. During Mark’s legal career, he developed a unique reputation for being an entrepreneurial internet lawyer and was instrumental in advising to a wide range of highly successful internet companies on their corporate legal affairs. In 2008, Mark moved out of private practice to concentrate on growing his tech, property and retail interests.
At the early age of 15 Mark founded his first business for which he was awarded a national award of Student Entrepreneur of the Year in 1999. Mark has since founded, managed, invested, advised and sold a variety of companies. In early 2012 Mark exited his investment in Zugo – which grew to become one of the largest distributors for Microsoft’s search engine (Bing.com).
Mark maintains several directorships (primarily in the tech sector), makes investments in various fast growing start-ups most notably CopyPress, Faceit and Lifecake (recently acquired by Canon) and sits on the board of several start-ups around the world. Mark is based in London although travels extensively for his business interests, most frequently through the USA and Israel.
