Michael enjoys investing and working with “bleeding-edge” technologies, from ideation and feasibility, to architecture, prototypes, and implementations - which often span organizational boundaries.

His diverse work ranges from digital cable applications, including next-generation VOD, IPGs, games, and video-rich navigation, to cross-platform services, including caller ID to the TV/PC and remote DVR/tune. He’s also worked on disruptive technologies like the X1 platform, cloud DVR, X1 remote and voice control, Send to X1, and OTT app integration, like Netflix and YouTube.

Other work areas include proximity/presence, Xfinity xFi, 360-video, VR/AR/MR, and web technologies.

Michael holds a BS in Computer Science from Penn State, with additional graduate work in Computer Science from the same. He holds 20 issued patents, with many more pending.

When he’s not working on leading-edge stuff, he enjoys puzzles, soccer, scuba, music, theater, video games, table tennis, and sharing experiences with family and friends.
