Sarah is the Program Manager for Techstars Austin. She oversees all activities in the accelerator program, recruits & selects top companies alongside the Managing Director, and engages with founders to drive them toward success. She loves helping companies craft their pitches, giving creative direction, and cultivating a supportive environment for mental health. Prior to this, she was a Program Manager for the Core77 Design Awards in New York City where she liaised with students, startups & corporations, doubled program engagement, and grew and supported the global Core77 design community. She also has a strong background with employee training, building teams, and succeeding in management roles with companies like Apple and Dropbox.
She's also a writer & comedian, and teaches workshops on how to write & deliver your pitch and presenting your best self—whether it be on stage or in a meeting.
Fun facts: She's a book editor, opened and mentored the first Apple Store in Idaho, and has performed stand up at the Comedy Cellar. When she's not running Techstars Austin and engaging with early stage companies, you can find her improvising, writing sketch comedy, rock climbing, running and eating Lick ice cream.
