I am a builder. As a 15+ year veteran in consumer technology I’ve brought some of the most innovative, disruptive audio products to market in the past decades. I’ve applied my expertise to global lifestyle brands such as Beats by Dr. Dre, JBL, GM, Chrysler, Fiat, VW, HP, Quiksilver/Roxy, Nickelodeon and Universal Music Group. Launching new businesses, developing new product categories and transforming existing businesses through innovation is my passion.

Building businesses from the ground up requires both a local and global perspective. From structuring a company’s operations to overseeing the strategic development, sales and marketing of its product my goal is to accelerate an enterprise’s market impact. As the first employee and CEO of Beats By Dr. Dre, I strategically and operationally guided all aspects of the company's unparalleled growth, making it the #1 headphone globally and the fastest growing brand in CE. At Harmon International Group I developed new markets for their global brand portfolio, creating a partnership with youth lifestyle powerhouse Quicksilver Inc., driving $40M of annualized growth.

Whether I am developing proprietary technology as I did for Beats Audio, which was deployed in millions of mobile phones, automobiles and PCs through technology licensing partnerships, or I’m leading investment deal teams – my Beats/HTC deal produced funding in excess of $300M, my overarching aim is always to help companies secure a leadership position in their industry. Currently, I am a business advisor helping to launch early stage ventures and providing existing global brands with strategies for building entirely new businesses.
