"At Western Union Tyler leads our Corporate Strategic planning, Insights and Innovation functions. He managesa team of strategists, business analysts, market intelligence specialists and research experts supporting Western Union’s global money movementbusinesses. He and his team leverage insights from consumer research and competitive & market intelligencein developing corporate strategy for Western Union. They also work with external groups such as VC’s, startup accelerators, universities and others to collaborate in driving innovation for Western Union. Prior to this role,he oversaw a team of Category Managers responsible for category research, strategy development, assortment planning, product development, vendor management and marketing and sales coordination for Staples B2B business in the US. Tyler began his career with the global management consulting firm, A.T. Kearney, advising clients on strategy and operations in the Financial Services, High Tech, Telecom, Energy, and Retail sectors. Tyler has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado and an MBA in Marketing and Strategy from the Kelley Schoolof Business at Indiana University.
