We are excited to announce the 10 companies joining the 2021 Minnesota Twins Accelerator by Techstars.

When we announced this program we were excited; sports, entertainment, and media tech combined with an amazing partner like the Minnesota Twins, who wouldn’t want to be a part of that? Since that announcement, our excitement has only grown. We’ve had the opportunity to meet incredible companies and high-caliber founders from all over the world.

Sports and entertainment may be the fastest evolving industry on the planet. Content, access, and sporting events are changing quickly and fans are consuming their sports differently than they ever have. They now have the data and access that was once limited to teams and front offices. The industry has been challenged to keep up with this pace, to keep fans engaged as the demand for more, new, and better is never-ending. These market dynamics have created an amazing moment in time for entrepreneurs to innovate and disrupt. Alongside the Minnesota Twins, we are excited to help them achieve their goals.

Participants will receive mentor support from the Techstars network, the Twin Cities startup community, the broader sports tech ecosystem, and the Minnesota Twins and Pohlad companies. Program mentors will work closely with each company to help with business model innovation, access to the sports and entertainment industry, and will bring global connections to bear.

The 2021 Minnesota Twins Accelerator by Techstars roster is comprised of 10 startups that bring a diverse and innovative perspective to some of the sports and entertainment industry’s biggest challenges, with innovations in ketchup and eSports, to digital media and entertainment, to a new way to experience sound! It is a broad look into what is coming to disrupt the sports and entertainment world. Each of the companies will share their progress when they pitch their companies at a Demo Day on February 15, 2022.

Please join us in welcoming the class of 2021. We can’t wait to see what these companies accomplish!
