Techstars NYC Supports Founders Through Challenging Times

In December, we outlined Health, Wealth and Happiness as key themes for Techstars NYC 2020. At the time, we had no idea that just a few months later we would be thrust into a world full of uncertainty and hardships. Today, our program themes are more relevant than ever. As we confront a global pandemic, economic recession, and new realities of work from home, people are continuing to find inspiration in solving the world’s biggest problems.
The 10 companies joining Techstars NYC this summer are focused on health, the future of work, education, and fintech. The founders, with their grit and ingenuity, are what make these companies truly unique. This is not an easy time to be building a company, and all of them are working hard to make this world a better place. The fundraising environment is challenging, gaining paying customers is hard, and employees feel isolated and vulnerable in a virtual workplace.
However, these passionate founders are persisting against all odds, building businesses that have the potential to transform the world we live in and weather these unprecedented times. I could not be more excited and grateful to be supporting this group of founders and welcoming them into the Techstars family.
