MD Note: Updates on Techstars Iowa Accelerator

Mar 24, 2020

By Kerty Levy, Managing Director of Techstars Iowa

I hope everyone is doing well and staying safe during the uncertain times brought on by COVID-19. Staying at home is absolutely the right thing to do right now, as tough as it can be. My hope is that we come out on the other side of this with more appreciation for the ability to meet for coffee or lunch, network at conferences, and just be in the presence of others.

Beyond health, wellness, and convenience concerns I know many of you may have additional concerns about your startups and how best to manage them. Techstars is assembling resources from across the network and linking to them all here.

In addition, if any founders want to vent, ask for advice, connect with others who might be able to help, I’m on call, sequestered in my home office. Please feel free to reach out and schedule office hours with me.

We plan to host a web event in in the coming weeks with our partners Grinnell College, Iowa State University, and the University of Iowa to share how Techstars Iowa and the greater community in Iowa can act as a springboard once we get through all of this. Stay tuned for information.

The Techstars Iowa Accelerator will run this fall from September to December. Applications are open now until May 10, 2020. For more information, please visit our application page.

Stay well!
