Jennifer Brisman is the Founder and CEO of VOW, an innovative technology company transforming the future of live events globally. A 20+year Event Industry Expert, Jennifer is proud to have produced hundreds of private live events touching nearly 60M in contracts.

During the first leg of her career, Jennifer became known for championing financial and creative efficiencies by implementing centralized workflows across live event teams, partners and clients. During the pandemic, VOW, then dubbed VOW Digital Health, ‘safed’ over 1.5B in event revenue across over 500 events for the world’s biggest brands like Uber and Peloton through unique COVID screening technology.

Jennifer is immensely passionate about supporting women in business and technology. She is an active member of Good for Her championed by former Digital Ocean CTO, Julia Austin and former member of Chief and Dream Ventures. What does your company do, and why is it important?

VOW is an AI-powered operating system for the live experience economy — giving live events a brain, organizers superpowers, and guests, attendees, and fans hyper-personalized experiences at scale. We streamline, unify, and elevate live events by bringing together dozens of fragmented workflows across hundreds of tools — guest list management, ticketing, seating, communications, stakeholder coordination, access control, and on-site execution — into one intelligent, real-time platform. This matters because today’s live experiences run on disconnected systems, manual processes, and siloed data, leading to chaos, costly mistakes, and an inability to personalize at scale. VOW replaces reactive coordination with proactive orchestration, transforming every moment for every stakeholder and making guests feel like the experience was designed just for them.

How is what you are building disrupting your industry?

Like Shopify unified commerce, Salesforce unified sales, and Figma unified creation, VOW is unifying the entire live experience ecosystem around a 360 profile of the consumer.

What advice would you give aspiring entrepreneurs who are just starting their journey?

Be persistent, be patient, ask for help.

What has been your proudest moment or biggest triumph in your entrepreneurial journey?

Being trusted by some of the biggest and most iconic brands from NBC's SNL to PFL-MMA and more. During the pandemic, we were trusted to bring 1.5B in event revenue back online. We were building the plane as we flew it and more.

Are there any lessons you've learned along the way that you wish someone had shared with you when you started?

1) You're the weather. No matter how hard it gets, bring good weather to every interaction.

2) Trust people. You have to. And when you find trust + talent, hold onto it tight.

3) Relationships can make (or break) your dreams. Be mindful of who you bring into the fold.

4) Laugh.

5) Take care of your spirit. No one else will.

6) As you change, those you surround yourself with, will as well.

Can you share any resources or organizations that have been particularly helpful to you as an entrepreneur?

Good for Her, Betaworks and Techstars.

How do you celebrate your achievements and milestones within your business?

We move onto what's next with newfound energy and delight. We harness the power of success to supercharge getting to the next milestones. You have to.

Why did you want to do an accelerator, and why did you choose Techstars?

I wanted to, quite literally, be around a conference table, in an office, in a room with fellow founders, colleagues and builders who were going through these amenities pains as I was. I wanted to be supercharged by being 'all in it together' (rowers in different boats), and be held accountable and learn from one another. Techstars championed the Sports, Media and Entertainment sector in a way no other accelerator did or does. It was a remarkable and life-changing experience. My cohort was exceptional — founders and companies — but my cohort directors, Jordan Fliegel and Andrew Hippert, were remarkable leaders in every way. They set the stage for a truly collaborative growth experience for us all.

What was the most memorable experience from your Techstars program?

Techstars Sports powered by Indy Demo Day Fall 2024 and leading it off at High Alpha in Bottleworks in the center of Indianapolis and hitting the court at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in my VOW Indiana Pacers jersey.
