Techstars, Saudi National Bank and MCIT Announce Two Founder Catalyst Programs in Saudi Arabia

The Techstars Founder Catalyst Jeddah / Al Ahsa is a 10-week hybrid program with two distinct cohorts based out of Jeddah and Al Ahsa in Saudi Arabia. The program invites early-stage founders from all industries, with a preference for founders in media tech, from across the world to participate and shape the future of the Kingdom’s startup ecosystem.

“Saudi Arabia has an emerging and dynamic startup community,” said Techstars CEO Maëlle Gavet. “We’ve seen firsthand the power of nurturing entrepreneurial ecosystems through our existing Riyadh Techstars Accelerator. Techstars and Stanley Black & Decker Announce Founder Catalyst Program to Serve Diverse Founders in the Mid-Atlantic

This 10-week pre-accelerator program for early-stage startups will address the specific needs of diverse and underrepresented founders in the Mid-Atlantic region.

"Driving both innovation impact and community impact are long-standing goals for us,” said Marty Guay, Vice President of Business Development for Stanley Black & Decker. "Partnering with Techstars to launch this Founder Catalyst program is an important step toward championing those goals while fostering diverse talent in the startup ecosystem.”

Programs

Techstars accelerators have one goal: to help entrepreneurs succeed. We believe that great entrepreneurs and startups are everywhere but opportunity is not evenly distributed, which is why we continue to launch programs around the world.

During each three-month program, we surround companies with the best mentors and an unrivaled network of corporate partners, investors, and alumni. We provide funding and fundraising opportunities, workshops, and curated resources, not to mention countless moments where you can learn from your peers. It’s a proven model that’s helped build thousands of successful companies, all over the world.
