Aumet Closes $12M Series A to Power AI-First Procurement for Healthcare

Aumet (Techstars 2020), a Saudi Arabia-based healthtech company building an AI-first procurement operating system for healthcare providers and pharmacies, has closed a $12M Series A funding round.
Bringing Intelligence to Healthcare Supply Chains
Healthcare supply chains across emerging markets remain fragmented, manual, and starved of the data needed for fast, accurate procurement decisions. Aumet is building the foundational infrastructure layer that powers procurement, inventory, and decision-making across the healthcare ecosystem, from individual pharmacies to national healthcare systems.
The platform has already scaled into one of the largest healthcare commerce and data networks in the region, with $1B in Gross Merchandise Value, more than 5M transactions annually, 12,000+ pharmacies across Jordan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia, and 1,000+ pharmaceutical suppliers connected.
Its three product layers extend AI-driven procurement across every level of the ecosystem:
Pulse for individual pharmacies,
Chain for pharmacy chains,
Enterprise for hospitals, ministries of health, and national healthcare systems.
Aumet's Enterprise solution, first deployed at Al-Basheer Hospital in Jordan, now spans 32 hospitals, 500+ medical centers, and 18+ medical warehouses, in collaboration with Jordan's Ministry of Health and Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship (MODEE), and Abu Dhabi-based AI company Presight.
