TechNovaTime Raises $3.4M Pre-Seed Round to Take On Healthcare's Administrative Burden
October 15, 2026
TechNovaTime’s AI platform observes front-line workflows, quantifies financial impact before deployment, and executes repetitive administrative tasks inside existing health system software.

TechNovaTime (Techstars 2025) has raised $3.4M in pre-seed funding to help health systems take on the administrative work that drains their staff and their revenue.
TechNovaTime, or TNT, builds AI-powered process intelligence and digital workforce automation for health systems. Its platform observes how front-line teams actually work, quantifies the financial impact of automating a task before anything is deployed, and then carries out repetitive administrative work inside the software a health system already uses.
Momentum Behind the Round
TNT's early deployments are already showing results. In one recent health system deployment, the platform took on routine workflow volumes equal to three full-time employees within four weeks.
Beacon Health has already seen that speed firsthand.
"The question with any AI investment is how quickly you can prove the value without adding risk to our infrastructure," said Dr. Stacey Johnston, CHCIO at Beacon Health. "Within 60 days, TNT went from mapping a complex Beacon workflow directly from our team to running it in production around the clock, working inside the systems our staff already use rather than requiring another heavy integration. That combination of speed, security, and measurable impact is rare, and it's why we see the potential to apply this model much more broadly across Beacon."
Healthcare's $43B Administrative Problem
Administrative costs make up roughly a quarter of total U.S. hospital spending, and the pressure is heaviest in revenue cycle and patient access operations. American hospitals spend an estimated $43B a year trying to collect payments from insurers, including nearly $18B spent appealing denied claims.
The losses keep adding up. In 2025, final claim denials and uncollected patient balances cost hospital networks more than $48B in net revenue. Hospital leaders also consistently name workforce vacancies and administrative burden among the biggest threats to their operations.
"Software automation projects often stumble because operational knowledge isn't documented in system manuals or EHR logs; instead, it exists in the heads of experienced staff and their daily workarounds," said Youssef Abubaker, CEO of TNT. "We built TNT to bridge this gap. By analyzing how work is actually executed on the front lines, we prove the financial return to leadership before anything is deployed, and then deliver digital support directly inside the systems staff already use."
How the Platform Works
Traditional consulting engagements and robotic process automation (RPA) overhauls can take months of manual interviews and IT redesign. TNT works in two connected phases instead.
Capture and the Enterprise Health Ontology
Under enterprise security and HIPAA compliance protocols, TNT's Capture technology passively observes routine workflows across patient access, operating room management, and revenue cycle operations. It builds those interactions into a living operational model, the Enterprise Health Ontology, which benchmarks unit economics and ranks automation opportunities by verifiable return on investment.
Mimic
Once health system leadership approves a business case, TNT deploys Mimic, an AI computer-use agent. Mimic works through the user interfaces staff already use, so there's no complex API re-engineering. It handles routine, repetitive tasks while human supervisory teams stay in control.
What's Next
With the round closed, TNT will invest in engineering for the Enterprise Health Ontology and bring its platform to more health systems. The company is also hiring across engineering and healthcare operations.
