01. Describe the problem/the industry that you are trying to mediate.

Most of the large companies in Europe are currently struggling with the upcoming climate and CO2 regulations. Starting from 2023, thousands of companies will need to provide and report their energy consumption and the size of their carbon footprint in accordance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). If the requirements are unmet then fines for millions of euros will be imposed. Trilleco has created the world’s first 3D IoT sustainability platform which is meant to help companies to measure, understand and improve their sustainability footprint.

Trilleco focuses mainly on the sector of manufacturing and logistics.

To name 4 SDS-s which we are currently solving, are the number 7 (affordable and clean energy), 12 (responsible consumption and production), 13 (climate action) and 17 (Partnerships for the goals).

02. How did the idea to create the company come to mind? How did your team come to be?

The idea of creating Trilleco became a reality in 2021, but its roots can be found in 2015. In 2015, The Sustainable Development Goals and the Paris Agreement set targets that must be reached to preserve our Earth and sustain the constant growing global population. So, our intent was and still is to have a valuable impact facing environmental issues by combining emerging technological solutions and digital sustainability for net zero.

Finding the right people to join the team meant finding people that had shared similar values and the right mindset.

Our team is uniquely built to evangelize, technologize, and rationalize circularity and bring companies to net-zero. We are simultaneously a diverse group of entrepreneurs, visionaries, and experienced professionals across marketing, technology, sales, and finance functions with blue-chip backgrounds from companies like Microsoft, Cisco, P&G. We have been working together since early 2021. We are connected in diverse ways, but always over a shared vision in the value of advanced digitization in democratizing circularity and transforming business attitudes towards it. While many of us have met and interacted extensively virtually, Hans and Miriam have worked on multiple projects together.

Our technology architecture & development is led by our CTO Yuvraj (Forbes 30u30) together with an external team of developers.

Because we combine a team of dedicated software-driven professionals with several decades of experience in technology, entrepreneurial, and business concepts with networks of high-qualified advisors (IBM, Hitachi, Accenture, SAP, Qualcomm, Huawei, Salesforce). We have many senior executives to support our journey.  All team members have known each other for several years. Hans and Harjoth worked closely in another software company as well as Hans and Miriam did two projects together. The NoCode space is the place to be for setting up disruptive software companies. We have been starting to develop in this team the ideas around Trilleco since early 2021
