The ABN AMRO + Techstars Future of Finance Accelerator is back in Amsterdam for its 6th edition, running from September 7 to December 11, 2026.

This year, we back unstoppable fintech founders in Europe building the infrastructure for the new financial system, the platforms and guardrails that make AI-native finance possible at scale.

2026 is a turning point. Agentic AI is moving from pilot to production across financial services, not just answering questions, but autonomously executing workflows, managing risk, and making decisions at scale. At the same time, Europe’s most ambitious regulatory wave in a generation, PSD3, FiDA, DORA, the EU AI Act, MiCA, and the new AML package, is hitting implementation. Financial institutions are scrambling to comply, and the cost and complexity are enormous. Banks, insurers, and payment providers need new tooling, new infrastructure, and new partners. And they need it fast. But this is not just about catching up. It’s a chance to fundamentally rethink what financial services is, how it should operate in an AI-native world, and to build entirely new banks, payment companies, and financial platforms from the ground up. Every company accepted into the program receives a $220,000 investment from Techstars.
