Introducing the 2026 Techstars Founder Catalyst WaterTech & Sustainability Spring Cohort

Techstars is delighted to announce the 2026 Techstars Founder Catalyst WaterTech & Sustainability spring cohort! Led by Techstars, in partnership with the Tuscaloosa County Economic Development Authority and The University of Alabama, this 10-week pre-accelerator program is focused on sustainability and water technology verticals. It’s designed to support the next generation of founders building solutions to address global water challenges, environmental impact, and resource efficiency, helping them turn innovative ideas into commercialized, real-world companies.
The program kicked off on Monday, April 6, with a cohort of 20 talented companies. The selected participants in this program will level up their businesses through mentorship, entrepreneurial masterclasses, pitch coaching, and collaboration with fellow, like-minded peers.
We are excited to begin the journey with these early-stage startups pushing the boundaries of innovation in an incredibly important industry. We will celebrate the culmination of this program, showcasing each of the companies in an End of Program Final Pitch Showcase on Tuesday, June 9, in Tuscaloosa, AL. Details to come.
